October 5 | Together for Creation – Climate March in Brussels

As part of the Season of Creation 2025, under the theme “Peace with Creation” and inspired by the image of the “Garden of Peace” from the book of Isaiah (32:14-18), we, Christians of all denominations, are called to come together in prayer and action. This key moment, initiated by the bishops of Belgium, runs from September 1, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, until October 4, the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, patron saint of integral ecology.

We invite you to join us for a spiritual and fraternal moment on Sunday, October 5:

• 12:45 p.m.: gathering at the House of Compassion for an ecumenical prayer, in communion with Christians of all denominations.

• From 1:30 p.m.: common march towards the Parc du Cinquantenaire.

Why take part as a Christian community?

Prayer and action come together: this initiative is not only a civic gesture but also an act of faith. By walking together, we affirm our commitment to climate justice, guided by our mission to care for Creation (Laudato Si’, Pope Francis).
