Rediscovering the European Common Good | La Pairelle, Namur

The group “Passion for Europe” and Jesuit European Social Center (JESC) are organizing a two-day session to cover Europe’s current situation and main challenges from a Christian perspective.

In the discussion panels, various areas that represent a challenge for the present and future of the European Union will be covered.
The matters will be discussed among others by members of the European institutions and members of Religious organizations.

The following broad topics will be addressed :
*Migration flows: How Europe faces the global challenge? Which policy for the Common Good?
*Integral ecology: Environmental and social challenges: How to keep man at the center?
*Cultural challenge within EU: United in diversity

The event is a unique occasion to open a dialogue on Europe’s current status, brainstorm on possible changes of mindset to rediscover the European Common Good.
The debates will be led by experts and fostered by participants’ intervention.

The program will begin on Friday 21st September at 1:30 pm and will end on Sunday 23rd September at 2:00 pm.
The participation fee for the whole event is 200 EUR.
