New workshop series @ Chapel for Europe | Spirituality for busy people

The aim of these 5 workshops is to help in living the faith in everyday life. It will focus on aspects of personal, professional and spiritual development and it will include practical exercises. Some tools from (not only) Jesuit spirituality will be proposed in order to improve life and to be a better leader of oneself and of other people.

The 4th Workshop : How to find time for important things self and time management

Sunday, April 7th 2019, from 15:00 till 18:30.

« I would like to pray more, but somehow, there’s no time for it… I go on with the daily business and when I have finally time, I am just too tired. I have good intent, but it feels like work, so I just rather read, watch a YouTube video, or grab something to eat. I mean I would like to, but I just don’t know where to fit it in. »

« The work I do is ok, but I don’t really feel at my place. Or I don’t know if I should stay here or look for something else. Sometimes, it seems like I have wasted the past couple of years. It would be great to make better use of the coming years and choose a career path fits me better. »

If these sentences sound familiar to you fully or partly, then this workshop is for you. In the first part, we will look into different daily and weekly patterns, understand that not all times periods are equal during the day and week, and help you identify your own chronotype. Then we help you select the best times for prayer and other important things for you when you have the highest chance of success.

In the second part, we will look into Edgar Schein’s Career Anchors, and see how you can respond better for new career opportunities, say yes or no with more confidence, or choose a direction that is yours.

The workshop will be practice oriented, only a minimum amount of theory will be introduced to support the other parts: most of the time will be spent with personal activity, peer-exchange, and times for silence during the workshop.
